Hello Friends, A weak 5-sec period east wind swell was all we had on tap this morning. It’s about 1.25 metres out at sea, but struggling to be much above the knee mark along the beach at Dee Why. Tide hits a 2 metre high at 1030 – which won’t help things either.

Hello Friends, A beautiful summer morning with sunny skies and a high of 29 in prospect later. As the pictures show, there were very small waves around the place as Saturday got started. Waves were looking weak and slow too, but with the right equipment, you could sort of burbble along for a ways.

Hello Friends, At 0600 the swell at sea was 3.5 metres at 12-13 seconds from the SSE and the wind was SW at 11-17 kts. In a few hours the wind will be southerly and the surf options will dwindle to only the most protected locations.

Hello Friends, A grey start to the day, but as the pictures show, the swell arrived overnight and this morning started with 8-10 kts of westerly wind. The sets are solidly overhead and while it looks kind of raw, there are definitely a few makeable ones in the mix at the point.
