The Surrey County Championships moved to Guildford Spectrum last weekend with two long days packing in all the 100m events for the Surrey A Championships (except for the 100m Individual Medley) as well as a large programme of events in the Surrey B Championships.

Kingston Royals swimmers started the Surrey County Champs 2017 with a bang on Sunday, 29th January. The events that were raced yesterday were the 800m and 1500m Freestyle for County A Swimmers and the 400m Freestyle and 400m Individual Medley for County B Swimmers.
Congratulations to the following swimmers who have won the Victor Ludorum Trophy 2016 for their age group. Points are awarded to the fastest swimmer in each age group for times achieved in each stroke across all Licensed Meets throughout the January-December 2016.

Session 3 started with 50m breaststroke. Miles swam slightly slower than his PB, finishing in 16th place. Work on the stroke rate Miles! Josh finished 11th and just missed out on a final by 0.3s. Keep at it Josh as you have had a run of interrupted training yet are still hitting your PB!
