Surrey Championships 2017 - Week 2
The Surrey County Championships moved to Guildford Spectrum last weekend with two long days packing in all the 100m events for the Surrey A Championships (except for the 100m Individual Medley) as well as a large programme of events in the Surrey B Championships.
Kingston Royals swimmers continued where they had left off from week1 with a plethora of personal best swims and top 8 placings.
Surrey County A
The weekend saw some terrific swims in the A Championship events where the following swimmers achieved medals:-

Top 8 finishes were achieved by: Zach Austin (5th - 100 Breaststroke), Tom Hill (8th - 100m Butterfly), Chloe McCall (8th - 100m Butterfly).
Luca and Lucy were also presented with the Junior Boys and Senior Girls Trophies for their winning performances in the 100 Butterfly as both finished as best Junior Boy (15 & Under) and best Senior Girl (16 & Over) in Surrey respectively.
Surrey County B
In the Surrey B Championships the following swimmers obtained medals:-

Zach Austin (7th 100 Backstroke, 6th 50 Backstroke), Elliott Webb (4th 200m Freestyle), Slava Styrkas (7th - 200m Freestyle), Chloe McCall (4th - 200m Freestyle), Jasmine Humble (6th - 200m Freestyle), Katie Orrell (8th - 200m Freestyle), Mack Downey (5th - 200m Individual Medley), Luke Houllier (4th - 200m Individual Medley), Matilda Chisholm (8th - 100m Backstroke), Eloise Bailey (4th - 40m Butterfly, 6th - 100m Backstroke), Krista Abbott (8th - 100m Backstroke, 8th - 50m Butterfly), Eleanor Young (4th - 100m Backstroke), Lisa Boerner (7th - 100m Backstroke, 7th - 50m Butterfly), Luke Watkins (6th - 50m Backstroke), Cristina Joos (6th - 50m Butterfly), Sahara Patel (7th - 50m Butterfly).
The action returns to Surrey Sports Park this coming weekend for the Surrey A Championship 200m and 400m events as well as the Surrey B Championships Girls 200m Breastroke event.
