Registration for OWS Masters Tour Leg 2 is now open

European Aquatics confirms that registration for the Open Water Swimming Masters Tour Leg 2 is now open via this link.

The competition will take place in Sukoró on 24 July, with the registration deadline set for 3 July. Athletes planning to take part in the second leg of the Masters Tour are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their place.

The opening leg of the Masters Tour in Protaras, Cyprus, on 19 April marked a very successful start to the series, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting and highly competitive circuit for Masters swimmers.

Located on the shores of Lake Velence, Hungary’s second-largest lake, Sukoró is approximately 50 km from Budapest. The event will be hosted at the National Kayak Academy, a state-of-the-art sports complex dedicated to the development of elite athletes.

The Masters Tour competition will feature two events: a 3km race for men and a 3km race for women. According to the provisional schedule, the men’s race will start at 13:30, followed by the women’s race at 15:30 (local time).

Following the Masters Tour leg 2, the same venue will also host the Junior Open Water Swimming Championships from 23 to 26 July.
