Hello Friends, No good reason to rush down to the beach on Friday morning. Conditions were bad thanks to a couple days of relentless NE wind and a much faded remnant swell from Seth. It was down to 2.2 metres at 7 seconds from the east as of 0840.

Happy New Year 2022! Looking like nothing much in the way of a wave for the first day of the new year in Sydney. There’s a 1.3 m, 6 second NE wind swell wafting weakly into our shores. The NE wind didn’t back off at all overnight, so it’s been 10-20 kts from the get-go.
