Passlack: A Really Good Day Of The Office
With a goal and assist to his name, Felix Passlack described our convincing 3-0 victory over Kilmarnock as a "really good day at the office".
His incisive pass to Owen Elding inside the opening 15 seconds allowed the young forward to slot in the opener - scoring the fastest William Hill Premiership goal of the season in the process.
Not content with just being the provider, Passlack found the net on 12 minutes with the simplest of finishes after Jordan Obita picked the out the advancing wing-back with a smart pass.
Ante Šuto wrapped up all three points with a stoppage-time winner, and Passlack told Hibs TV of his delight at securing yet another important win with six matches to play.
"It was a really good day in the office, I mean, in this stage of the season, it's all about winning - and three goals at home, it's always good.
"I'm really proud of myself, I enjoyed myself," he added.
"It was my first goal at the Easter Road, so I enjoyed it a lot. We just have to keep going."
Our blistering start - which saw us take a lead with just 13 seconds on the clock before the German wing-back doubled our advantage inside 13 minutes - was a great execution of the game plan, according to Passlack.
Starting proactively allowed David Gray's men to take control of the match and comfortably maintain a two-goal cushion until the final stages in the game before Šuto's late goal sealed the win.
"We wanted to start quickly on the front foot and we scored after 15 seconds. It's a brilliant start in the game.
"We stuck to our plan, especially in the first 20 minutes, and we scored, or I scored, the second goal. But then I think we lost a bit of control in the game.
"But as I said, it's all about winning at this stage of the season, and we did.
"We have to gain a lot of confidence out of it. I mean it is another clean sheet, our third in a row, six games unbeaten, six games to go.
"As I said, we have something to play for, for Europe, and that should be our target."
