“I am sure we will have an excellent support from our member federations and a fantastic atmosphere in the pool.

“Coming at the end of a year that saw amazing performances from European athletes at the World Championships in Singapore, Lublin offers an excellent opportunity for our swimmers to judge their form as they head into winter, as well as to ensure that swimming remains in the public eye, outside the traditional summer season.”

Aqua Lublin is one of the most modern aquatics complexes in Poland and a flagship sports facility of the city. It includes a 50- meter Olympic swimming pool with a movable bottom and modern timing system, an additional 25-meter training pool, and facilities for both recreational and professional use.

Lublin, with a population of around 350,000, is the ninth largest city in Poland and the largest in eastern Poland, located about 170 km southeast of Warsaw.

With a history dating back to the ninth century, the city is a vibrant academic, cultural, and economic centre of the region., combining the charm of a historic old town with the energy of a modern European hub.
