Speaking about the announcement Paralympics Ireland CEO, Stephen McNamara said: “We all wish our swim team the very best for the weeks ahead. The preparation work is done and now it’s about putting those plans into action. This is an exciting time for our athletes and we can’t wait to see them compete.”
Para Swimming Head Coach, Hayley Burke added: “Our athletes have been working extremely hard in preparation for Singapore, and this World Championships provides a fantastic opportunity to test ourselves against the very best in the world. For some, it will be a chance to build on their Paralympic experience in Paris, while for others it’s about gaining vital exposure on the international stage. We are confident that this team will not only perform with pride but also continue their progression towards Los Angeles 2028.”
