Waves of Change DEI Recognition & Integrity Forum: registration opening on September 1

The schedule of the Waves of Change DEI Recognition & Integrity Forum is now confirmed with the final list of speakers to be announced soon. The event takes place on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 09:00 to 12:30 at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace and underlines the commitment of European Aquatics to Social Responsibility.

The Forum is open to all Member Federations, who are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in this important initiative. Building on the success of last year’s dedicated European Aquatics DEI Conference in Belfast, this new format reflects a commitment to continuity, while allowing for a more streamlined and accessible approach within the Congress framework.

The 2025 Forum will focus on recognising innovative practices and outstanding contributions to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, while also expanding its scope to include key topics related to Integrity – underlining the shared responsibility to foster a culture of fairness, respect, and accountability across the aquatics community.

10:05 – 10:25 – Panel: Other initiatives/tips to support DEI within our Member Federations

10:25 – 11:15: Integrity Session

10:25 – 10:35: Introduction and Integrity in European Aquatics

10:35 – 11:15 European Aquatics Integrity Workshop – “Leading with Integrity in High Performance Sports

11:30–11:45 *Athlete Forum: Special Olympics Voices. An initiative integrating athletes with disabilities.Suggestions for inclusion that Federations can apply/adopt, as also access, empowerment, and visions for inclusive sport.

11h45 – 11h55 – “Waves of Change Awards” CeremonyRecognition of National Federations that signed the DEI Statement
