Greetings from Italy at the end of the Ice Swimming Championships! Despite the absence of snow, the water temperatures remained a frosty 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, posing a tough challenge for all participants. The team is returning home with an impressive haul of medals.

Caitlin secured a silver medal in the 100 backstroke and a bronze in the 50 backstroke, showcasing her prowess in these competitive events. Another outstanding performer was Brian, who achieved gold in their category for the 200 IM, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, and, unexpectedly, the 100 butterfly. Additionally, they earned silver medals in the 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 100 freestyle, 250 freestyle, and 1000 freestyle, along with bronze medals in the 50 butterfly and 500 freestyle.

Madina participated in the breaststroke and distance freestyle events but did not secure a medal this time around. Another notable mention goes to Helen Manson, also known as Helen fae Ellon, who earned a silver medal in the 1000 freestyle and a bronze in the 200 IM.
