TUI hotel named best in the world by Brits has huge swimming pool and is right by the beach

THE best TUI hotels have been revealed and Brits have named an adults-only resort in Turkey as their favourite.

The TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025 looks at the top rated hotels for all markets across Europe.

And for the UK, TUI BLUE Barut Andiz came out on top.

The beachfront resort in Side in Turkey is reserved for guests over the age of 16.

It’s main attraction is the central swimming pool, with sunloungers, hot tub and outdoor bar and even aqua classes.

It is also just a few steps from a small private beach, so you can expect some additional privacy from other tourists.

When it comes to dining, the signature Culinarium à la carte restaurant allows guests to visit for free once during their stay, with a rotation of different cuisines.

Or you can pay to visit Olive, the Italian a la carte restaurant, otherwise the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner is at The Restaurant.

Along with the pool bar, there is the sunset rooftop bar and terrace bar, as well as a coffee shop onsite.

If you don’t want to leave the resort, day time activities include darts, boules, table tennis and shuffleboard as well as cooking and cocktail classes

Expect a range of evening activities too, including live music, themed Turkish nights as well as bingo.

An on-site gym, as well as spa with sauna, Turkish baths and hair salon are open to guests too.

When trying to choose the best room, you can go for the most basic Double Room that has a balcony, or go for the Swim-up Double Room that has pool views.

Or splash out on a Junior Suite that has both a balcony and Jacuzzi.

Previous tourists have raved about it too, with nearly all of the 3,000 reviews giving it five stars.

One person wrote: “I seems to get better every time we go.”

Another said: “This is undoubtedly the best adult only hotel I have ever encountered or indeed, imagined.”

The cheapest deal we could find was for a seven-night break this month, costing £669pp on an all-inclusive basis when flying from London Gatwick.

Flights go into Antalya which take just over four hours, with the resort around another hour from the airport.

Temperatures are around 23C in March – visit in the summer and you can see highs of 35C.

It isn’t the only TUI hotel that was highly recommended.

When it came to the best Large Hotel overall, Riu Gran Canaria was named the best.

The best city hotel was H10 Casa de la Plata in Seville while the best long-haul hotel was TUI BLUE Olhuveli Romance in the Maldives.

And Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites in Greece was named the Best Hotel Globally for the third year running.

Having also been named the world’s best TUI hotel in 2023 and 2024, it has two infinity pools and is by the beach.
