International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame Honor Swimmer Rosemary George from Dover, England mentioned her stylish eyewear that she used to wear on her English Channel crossings during today’s WOWSA Live interview with Ned Denison.
O’Flanagan’s goggles was a brand of goggles patented by Father Michael O’Flanagan. The issue was granted on July 10th 1926.
George picked up her trusty pair of these “submarine specs” at her local Boots pharmacy.
