War Memorial Meet

Well done to the 57 swimmers from LCSC who attended the SU War Memorial Meet this evening in Bangor. Every single swimmer represented the club and themselves tremendously well.

From a great team pre-pool through the heats, the ceremony on deck with all the swimmers and the finals. We had teams make 9/10 finals with many of the finals featuring two teams from Lisburn.

The swimmers certainly showed up and delivered the skills on this night of remembrance. We even had some trophies too.

Daniel W was awarded ‘SU Interprovincial Swimmer of Year’. The 14/u girls 200 MTR team of Moyà O’K, Ava McM, Toni J and Jessika R broke an Ards winning going back 7 years to take home the gold in that event.

We had a further 4 teams place in the top three in other finals too. Well done to the swimmers and parents. Massive thanks to all our volunteer officials and to SU for hosting a great night of racing. Up next is the SU Short Champs this coming weekend (15th-17th) in our pool. #earnit#whosneedaraceskin
