[Women's Swimming] Point Takes on Emmanuel, Brenau, and South Georgia in Dual Swim Meets

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA: Emmanuel College (Ga.), a member of the NCAA Division II, defeated Point University, 145-33; South Georgia State College, 133-49; and Brenau University (Ga.), 126-57, and placed first among four schools with a 3-0 dual meet record at the Emmanuel College Women's Swimming Quadrangular Meet, Saturday, Jan. 27, in Franklin Springs, Ga.

South Georgia State also defeated Point, 129-42, and Brenau, which is tied for the number nine ranking in the NAIA National Coaches' poll, beat Point, 129-42.  Brenau also defeated South Georgia State, 116-58, and emerged with a 2-1 dual record.  South Georgia State went 1-2, and Point was 0-3.
