Hello Friends, Flat as a tack, and that’s that. Normal service may resume tomorrow. We could see a south pulse on Wednesday into the chest-high range at magnets in the afternoon. But, the wind is expected to be SE, so quality prospects are uncertain at best.

Hello Friends, Sunny and weirdly mild for an early August morning as Saturday got started. As expected, the swell faded overnight and we’re looking at waist high wave faces on the sets. Out at sea the waverider buoys were detecting a metre of 12-13 second SE swell.

Hello Friends, The set wave above was easily the best thing I saw in my drive from Manly to Dee Why this morning. For the most part, even the best exposures were not seeing sets much above the chest-high mark.
