The (provisional) results are in from the Weybridge Head Race on Saturday. As you can see below there was not a whole lot of competition as it was mainly river boats but you can only beat what is put in front of you.
The annual marathon organised by Boston Rowing Club from Lincoln to Boston on the river Witham is the ultimate endurance challenge and not for the faint heated. There are a number of obstacles to overcome on the 31 mile course besides the obvious fatigue.
The Royal Chester Masters and Juniors squads finished the regatta season on a high with the Masters undefeated at both Stourport and Gloucester and Ross regattas, a clean sweep bringing home a total of 8 category wins.
