Patriots Trade Deadline Tracker: Latest Rumors, Updates
The Patriots essentially kicked off trade season last week, and a busy couple of days leading up to Tuesday’s trade deadline could see New England continue to make moves.
Kyle Dugger and Keion White were the first two players the Patriots sent out, getting picks in return for players who had fallen out of favor. But there are personnel needs on the roster, and buying is very much on the table for the Patriots.
Running back is an obvious area that could be added to. A splash like Alvin Kamara seems unlikely, but the Jerome Fords of the world might be in play. Pass rushing remains an area of need on the defensive side of the ball.
All of which to say, a lot can happen between now and 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Keep it here for any informed chatter that could impact the Patriots.
MONDAY, noon: Dominos already are falling. The Miami Dolphins sent pass rusher Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2026 third as Howie Roseman continues to add. A teardown could be coming for the Dolphins, but despite the Patriots’ need for a player like Phillips, Miami trading him within the division seemed somewhat unlikely. Phillips is a pending free agent, however, so you’d think the Dolphins went with the best offer. A third-rounder is a solid return.
On the Trey Hendrickson front, the Bengals reportedly are still eyeing a first-rounder. The Phillips return might help that come to pass.
