NFL Analyst Predicts TreVeyon Henderson To Have Breakout Game In Week 3

TreVeyon Henderson didn’t have a rookie breakout performance in the first two games of the season, but it could be coming this Sunday.

During a segment on the NFL Network’s Fantasy Football show on Friday, NFL analyst Adam Rank stated that he believes Henderson will have a breakout game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“This is going to be the TreVeyon Henderson breakout game,” Rank said. “I know Rhamondre Stevenson is playing really well. But I also know that the New England Patriots love to mess with our fantasy teams, a tradition that goes back to Bill Belichick. Here comes Henderson, who will not only score his first touchdown of his NFL career but also score a pair of touchdowns in this one.”

Henderson’s first two NFL games were underwhelming, with only 37 rushing yards on eight carries and 54 receiving yards. However, he has a great matchup on Sunday.

Pittsburgh’s defense allowed 299 rushing yards in the first two games, which should enable both Henderson and Stevenson to have big performances.

If the Patriots want to win on Sunday, they need to keep the ball in Henderson’s hands to relieve the pressure off quarterback Drake Maye, who will be trying to avoid seven-time Pro Bowl pass rusher T.J. Watt.
