How Patriots’ Drake Maye Performed At Pro Bowl Games

Drake Maye made a last-minute trip to Orlando to represent the New England Patriots after he earned an alternate selection to the Pro Bowl.

Maye became the second Patriots rookie quarterback in four years to get the alternate nod after now-Jacksonville Jaguars passer Mac Jones. Jones competed against peers from around the NFL and fired the ball around in the “Passing The Test” competition.

Maye tallied 22 points in the same competition, which was the lowest total among the six quarterbacks — Russell Wilson, Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield — in the events. You can check out Maye’s performance here as well as a few pictures from the Patriots.

The New England rookie didn’t see much winning in 2024 but showed flashes of what his future entails once the Patriots put some help around him. He tossed 15 touchdown passes and should take a leap forward under the fresh guidance of experienced offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and head coach Mike Vrabel in 2025.
