Udinese ready to sell centre-back to Tottenham for just £14m
An interesting update has emerged regarding Tottenham’s pursuit of a Serie A centre-back, who is also thought to be on the radar of a Premier League rival as well as a Bundesliga side.

We are only a few days into the transfer window, but we have already seen scores of centre-backs being linked with a switch to Tottenham.
One of the latest names to be put forward was Udinese centre-back, Thomas Kristensen, who has made just eight appearances for the Italian side since joining them in the summer, with a calf injury limiting his involvement this season.
A number of outlets have suggested over recent days that Spurs have scouted 6ft 6in defender extensively this season and were considering pushing ahead with a move for him.

Messaggero Veneto have now backed up the information we have heard over recent days, naming Spurs, Leicester City and Bayer Leverkusen as the clubs with the keenest interest in the Dane.
Out of those three, Leicester are painted as the frontrunners, with the Foxes alleged to have made ‘more than one enquiry’ for Kristensen this season.
The outlet adds that if someone were to put an offer of €16.5m (£13.6m) on the table, Udinese ‘would not oppose’ a transfer for the lanky centre-back this month.
Is Thomas Kristensen another Johan Lange target at Tottenham?
Kristensen’s record certainly does not leap out of the page and he has only played eight senior games since moving to the Italian top-flight.
It would appear that the centre-back is once again a name which Johan Lange‘s data algorithms have thrown up, after which the Lilywhites scouted him in person.
The fact that the defender is Danish is also a big sign that he is perhaps a Lange favourite, with the Tottenham technical director being a bigger authority than most on Scandinavian football.
