[Women's Basketball] Streater and Schultheis Named to CCAC Honorable Mention Team

Chicago, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced their women's basketball 2016-2017 awards Tuesday evening. Keysha Streater and Tagin Schultheis were both named to the CCAC's Honorable Mention All-Conference Team.

 

Sophomore Keysha Streater led the Saints in scoring and rebounds this past season. Streater averaged 14 points per game, while also grabbing 209 total rebounds for a 7 rebound per game average. Streater scored a career-high 33 points against Trinity Christian on January 3rd, while also pulling down a career-high 16 rebounds. Streater has totaled 752 points in her 60 total games as a Saints, putting her in 6th place all-time. She finished ranked 16th nationally in field goal percentage at 55.6% overall. Streater was also 38th in the nation averaging 2.97 offensive rebounds per game.

 

Tagin Schultheis was named to the honorable mention team for the second straight year. Schultheis poured in 13.1 points per game and led the Saints in assists with 105 total. She shot 37.6% from the field, including connecting on 70 three's for a 30.7% three point percentage. The junior's best game this year also came against Trinity Christian in January when she scored 30 points. Schultheis scored her 1000th point this year against Robert Morris and now has totaled 1,152 points for her career which is third all-time. She is also the all-time leader in three point field goals made with 192 trifectas.
