[Volleyball] Volleyball wins fourth straight in second straight sweep
MONTREAT, N.C. – Volleyball is on a four game win streak after the Cavs got their second consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference sweep with a 25-21, 28-26, 25-22 victory over Brenau Saturday afternoon. The win puts them at 14-15 (9-7 AAC).
"I was super proud of them in this match," said head coach Kristy Kamer. "We kind of played slow, but I have to give the girls props for pushing through to pull out the win. Being two games above .500 right now is a big step in the right direction from where we were."
Gracie Hummert, Katie Stanton, and Ila Elstein led the attack with seven kills each, while Kara Williams and Vivica Nogeuira led defensively with nine digs each. Abby Graham contributed 16 assists, two aces, and five digs. Bella Huerta was close behind with 11 assists and four digs.
