ZHAO won, 3 Youth World records for AISAH in W49kg

The second day of the IWF Junior World Championships ended with the women’s 49kg bodyweight category session, where Chinese lifter, ZHAO Jinhong earned all three gold medals. In the Snatch, she produced the same result as silver medallist AISHA Windy Cantika (INA), 81kg, but as hers was the first successful lift, she got the gold.

For the one year younger AISHA, this result meant a new Youth World Record, just as her Clean and Jerk (98kg) and Total (179kg).

Italian IMPERIO Giulia won the Snatch bronze medal with a 75kg lift.

In the Clean and Jerk, USA athlete REICHARD Hayley worked her way up to the third place in this lift and overall with a 98kg lift, rounding her Total result to 172kg.
