The event featured 12 athletes. The Belarusian placed fifth in the snatch, lifting 108kg and 111kg, but failed her 113kg attempt. Siuzanna Valodzka lifted 135kg in the clean and jerk. Her following attempts with 140kg and 142kg were unsuccessful.
