Dereham Otters produced an impressive set of results at last weekend’s Easter Mini Meet, combining strong competition with clear team spirit throughout the gala.
Swimmers demonstrated great commitment across the weekend, with many racing confidently and translating their hard work in training into excellent performances in the pool. Coaches praised the squad’s determination and the supportive atmosphere on poolside, noting that the confidence shown in competition reflected the progress being made in training.
A standout performance came from Annabelle Bartlett, who achieved an exceptional seven personal best times. The achievement reflects her dedication, focus and positive attitude in training, with each swim showing clear progress and consistency across multiple events. Her efforts set a strong example for the rest of the squad and highlighted what can be achieved through hard work and belief.
Lily Ellerker also enjoyed a hugely successful meet, bringing home seven medals in total — two gold, one silver and four bronze. Her medal haul underlined her competitive edge and ability to perform under pressure, as well as her versatility across a range of races. Coaches described her performances as a testament to both her preparation and her determination to succeed.
