Challenger Cup Men: Final Eight promises several thrilling match-ups after Monday’s draw
Monday’s Challenger Cup Men draw has set up tremendous clashes for the Final Eight tournament to be played from 12th-15th March (venue to be announced soon).
2025/26 Challenger Cup Men
Final Eight Draw
Group A
Enka Sport Club (TUR), AVK Branik Maribor (SLO), EVK Zaibas (LTU), Vitoria Sport Clube (POR)
Group B
Sliema ASC Nexawin (MLT), Galatasaray SK (TUR), Heybeliada ASC (TUR), San Giljan ASC (MLT)
Group B looks especially tough, as two Turkish and two Maltese sides will race for the two semi-final spots, including 2024 winners Galatasaray and last year’s semi-finalists Sliema, but San Giljan will also go all-in to make the top four.
Group A doesn’t seem any easier, with last year’s runners-up EVK Zaibas and Enka Sport Club considered the favourites, but Vitoria Sport proved the Portuguese side could win the toughest encounters and Slovenian side Branik may also have a word or two.
There was no draw for the Final Classification tournament, to be played at a different venue with the teams having finished third respectively in Qualification Round II.
Cetus Espoo (FIN), VK Banja Luka (BIH), Carouge Natation (SUI) and RD Mouscronnois (BEL) will play a round robin tournament to determine the 9th-12th places.
