Askeaton Pool & Leisure Re-Opening – Tuesday 28th October 2025
Swim Ireland, in partnership with Limerick City & County Council, is excited to announce the re-opening of Askeaton Pool & Leisure on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, following the bank holiday weekend. The pool will be accessible from Tuesday to Friday, between 10am and 2pm, providing the community with an excellent opportunity to swim and participate in children’s swimming lesson assessments.
This week will serve as a soft opening, aimed at spreading awareness within the community, finalising staff arrangements to ensure we have a full complement to support full time hours, and allowing contractors to complete the final touches as we work towards a full re-opening. Ongoing work within the centre is expected to be completed in the coming week, with the final enhancements to the gym to be completed within the next two weeks. Once the gym work is complete, we will open our system for membership registrations.
