CHAMPIONS! Guildford City Swimming Club Triumphs at Junior Arena League National Final
What an incredible day for Guildford City Swimming Club!
Our fantastic junior swimmers have made history by claiming victory at the Junior Arena League National Final for the third outright year (and for 4 years including a tie) on Saturday, delivering a commanding performance that showcased the very best of our club’s talent, determination, and team spirit.
OUTSTANDING TEAM VICTORY
In a thrilling competition against seven other top clubs, our swimmers rose to the occasion magnificently, securing first place with an impressive 229 points. This decisive victory demonstrates the months of hard work, dedication, and training that our young athletes have put in throughout the year.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the competing teams who made this such a competitive and exciting final:
* Chelsea and Westminster (195 points) – 2nd place
* Wycombe District (173 points) – 3rd place
* Camden Swiss Cottage (142 points) – 4th place
* Stockport Metro (126 points) – 5th place
* Brompton (110 points) – 6th place
* Bracknell and Wokingham (109 points) – 7th place
* Maidenhead (106 points) – 8th place
The standard of swimming across all clubs was exceptional, making our victory all the more special.

RELAY CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS
As if our individual and team victories weren’t enough, our swimmers also claimed the Relay Challenge, proving that teamwork and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do at GCSC.
