April 10 entry deadline for EAA course to launch your career as an international diving official
Anyone wishing to launch a career as an international diving official is invited to register for the European Aquatics Basic Course 2025 for Diving Officials Level 1 – with an entry deadline this Thursday (April 10).
The two-part course is being organised by the European Aquatics Academy (EAA) as part of the Diving Technical Officials Certification Program.
Part 1 will be delivered on the EAA Education website on April 26 by experts from the EAA the EA Technical Diving Committee.
Part 2 will be organised onsite in the Norwegian city of Bergen from April 30 to May 2 in co-operation with Bergen Diving Club.
In his opening message on the information bulletin for the opening edition of European Aquatics Diving Officials Courses 2025, EA President Antonio Silva writes:

“Courses and clinics are modified in the way to provide in addition to educational and training sessions, also an opportunity to grow a diving community, connecting experts with participants and sharing best practice thus focusing on excellence in European Aquatics.

Registration for course should be done through the EAA Education site by April 10 at the latest and the amount of €145,00 should be paid as registration fee: https://www.eaacademy.eu/lms/courses/ea-diving-officials-school-2025
Candidates must be nominated by the member federations in which they are registered as Technical Diving Officials. They should have a minimum of two years’ judging in the highest-level national competitions and should also have basic-level English.
April 10 is also the deadline for accommodation fees, travel forms and payment proof to be paid to the LOC by April by bank transfer. The LOC contacts are: post@bergenopen.com; kimbowhite1992@gmail.com

All payments shall be done in Norwegian currency (NOK).
