2024 Olympics: How to watch gymnastics, swimming, track finals; full schedule

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Every four years, the trio of gymnastics, swimming and track and field takes center stage across the world, and this year in Paris is no different.

Can Simone Biles add to her seven Olympic medals and lead Team USA to another title? Will she find a way to overcome her bout with "the twisties" in Tokyo? She looked great during the U.S. Olympic Trials, at least. On the men's side, can an American win gold for the first time since Paul Hamm did it at the 2004 Athens Games?

How will Team USA fair in the pool against an Australian team that's out to prove to the world they can hang with the best? The Aussies finished two medals shy of the Americans in Tokyo, closing the gap on an otherwise dominating performance by Team USA in Olympic swims.

Can Team USA's Sha'Carri Richardson finally prove on the biggest stage that she's the fastest woman in the world and keep Jamaica from another medal sweep in the women's 100 meters? Will Noah Lyles do the same on the men's side for the U.S.?
