Jan Harvey made life member of East District

Congratulations to Jan Harvey on becoming a Life Member of SASA East District

Jan started the journey into swimming life as a timekeeper on 3 May 1986
Continued onto what was at this point a combined Judge 1 & 2 (where you had to sit an exam) 7/5/1988 and as a starter 1/6/1989.

From here the journey and commitment continued into becoming a Referee.
From this point we saw Jan continue to grow her volunteer role within their
own club and the District, taking on a significant role within our STO committee as a
course co-ordinator and has seen many a timekeeper trained and go further in their
own official pathway.

Jan has supported Club and District swimmers alike for many years, too
many to mention (or that I dare to!) and most of these have been when their own
children gave up.
