Home Bargains selling 10ft inflatable swimming pools for £45 – and its £15 cheaper than Argos
HOME Bargains is selling a 10ft inflatable swimming pool for £45 and it’s £15 cheaper than a similar one you can find in Argos.
Shoppers have spotted the Avenli pools on sale in stores and they are being stocked as Star Buys.
Star Buys are limited offers only available in Home Bargain stores, similar to Aldi’s Specialbuy range.
The pool costs £44.99 and is cheaper than similar pools available to buy elsewhere.
For example, Argos is selling a 10ft pool for £60 – that’s £15 more expensive than the Home Bargains offer.
Net world sports also sells the same size garden pools but it will set you back £65.99.
How to compare prices to get the best deal
JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

- Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
- Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
- Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
- CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
But if you’re looking to save cash, Home Bargains sells a slightly smaller option that measures 8ft wide for £19.99.
The pools will provide great entertainment for when Brits can socialise with up to six different people in private gardens at the end of the month, when lockdown restrictions begin to ease.
The large family sized pool and cheap deal was spotted by eagle eyed discount hunters on the Money Savers Bargain Hunters facebook group.
Shoppers agreed on the page that “it’s a good price” and “perfect for the summer.”
One even joked: “This is why the shop is essential – I love a bargain!”
Unfortunately, the 10ft pools aren’t available to order online so you’ll need to head to your nearest store if you want to get your hands on one.
Home Bargains stores are allowed to stay open under current lockdown restrictions as it is considered essential.
As the pools are Star Buys, stock is limited and the store advises you contact your local store to find out if they have any in stock to avoid disappointment.
