Mick Hobster

It is with great sadness that we are informing you of the sad passing of Mick Hobster. Mick sadly passed away yesterday (31st October) at 9:00pm suddenly from a heart attack.

Mick was a great well known face around Nottinghamshire Swimming events, helping out on “the door” at most events accross Nottinghamshire, along with is wife June, not only for the county, but for most clubs at their open meets, from the Falcon Sprint Meet, Mansfield Major Oak and the Ernehale Open to name a few.

Mick and June were the true volunteers with hearts of gold, never asked to do any job, but always the first to come forwards and offer their assistance, and with big smiles.

Our thoughts go out to Micks wife June and Daughter and coach Mandy, and grandaughter Ellie. Mick will be greatly missed.
