CPO - Networking Event East
Just to remind you of the network event for Child Protection Officers on Sunday 22nd April between 0930-1230 at the Royal Commonwealth Pool.
This is an opportunity for local CPO’s to get together to receive important updates from Scottish Swimming’s Safeguarding Officer – Lindsay Booth.
It is aimed at all levels of experience from experienced CPOs to help pass on their knowledge and receive further support to brand new CPO’s who might not have attended the training to learn more about the role and create a wider network of support.
There will also be further support and training around:
- Child Protection Policy Update
- PVG forms
- Social Media Policy update
- Standards
- Opportunity to network and encourage sharing best practice
Gordon Hunter, as RSDM for the East will be in attendance along with Charlene Graham Executive Officer to support any CPO’s with completing PVGs, Self-Declarations or general questions and queries surrounding this.
Please take this opportunity as CPO or if you are looking to recruit new candidates to the role they would be made most welcome.
