[Women's Swimming] Womens Swimming: Point Wins 3 of 5 Duals; Sets Two School Records

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Point University women's swimming team, coached by Kaymee Kelly, defeated three of its five dual-meet opponents and set two new school records and recorded one NAIA cut in its first competition of the season, Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Emmanuel College Fall Invitational in Franklin Springs, Ga.

Point defeated Bethel University (Tenn.), 87-57; LaGrange College (Ga.), 114-19; and Life University (Ga.), 94-50; and lost 153-39 to the hosts from Emmanuel College and by a narrow 78-72 margin to King University (Tenn.).  Point finished third among the six schools in the competition with its 3-2 record.  Emmanuel went 5-0, and King was 4-1.
