2017 Round Inismor Swim

This year, I will be trying, weather and conditions permitting to swim around Inismor; the largest of the three Aran Islands; a feat that will take in the region of 10-12½ hours and has never been done to date. This swim was originally planned for 2016 and could not be completed because of the adverse conditions throughout the summer. A swim, which hosts the Atlantic Ocean on one side needs good weather in the days preceding the swim and the promise of good weather on the day of the swim.

You don't need to have a login on FB to follow the swim.  Given that we will not be passing into the next parish of Boston we hope to bring you regular updating from the swim and progress reports by photo and video. The swim will follow general Channel Rules of swimming togs, hat and goggles only.
