Hello Friends, Thursday dawned with clear skies over Sydney and a light NW breeze stirring the leaves. Out at sea the MHL buoy was detecting a metre of 9-second energy from the SE. I couldn’t see anything resembling a wave from the RealSurf HQ crows nest.

Hello Friend, This morning saw sunny skies and a cool WSW breeze ruffling the straight south 1.7 m, 9-second period south swell. The MHL data from 0700 shows that most of the swell energy is headed away from the coast, so it’s not surprising that Dee Why wasn’t seeing much in the way of waves.
