Hello Friends, Looking a bit choppy this morning, but it’s sunny and the set wave faces are pushing into the head high plus range, plus it’s reasonably consistent. Wind was WNW 5-8 kts at 0830 and it should gradually drift around to the NE this afternoon and pick up into the 10-15 kt range.

Hello Friends, Horrible day for surfing. 20-30 kts of southerly and intermittent heavy showers plus 3-4 metres of 10-second SE swell are not a great combo. There were a few crazy people battling to catch something resembling a wave at Dee Why point, but there was no obvious reason why you’d bother.

Hello Friends, Clearing skies over Sydney as Wednesday kicked off, but out at sea the swell was 0.9 metres at 8 seconds from the ESE and wind was 5-7 kts WSW at 0800. But, as you can see from the pics, it’s too small to surf at Dee Why.

Hello Friends, Too tiny to see any waves at Dee Why from RealSurf HQ this morning, although there are knee high bumps up the beach thanks to a weak 1 metre, 9-sec SE wind swell. Wind was out of the WNW 5-7 kts.
