Dubuque, IA – No. 22 Grand View Softball swept Clarke 2-0 Wednesday afternoon in a two-game series. The Vikings defeated Clarke 8-0 in game one and claimed game two 7-3. Grand View advances to 24-4 overall record and 14-2 in the conference.
Nashville, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (23-9-1, 9-3 Great Midwest) split a pair of non-conference games with Lee University (21-24, 9-15 GSC) played at the Trojan Softball Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
COLUMBIA, MO- Harris-Stowe today against the 8th ranked offense of Columbia College. The Cougars took both games by final scores of 17-0 and 15-6.
DAYTON, Tenn. – As the season draws closer to an end, Appalachian Athletic Conference teams are vying for every single conference game to move up the AAC standings, but on Wednesday the Bryan College softball team came up short in a pair of games against visiting Truett McConnell University.
This week sophomore Kristen Prieto of Moore was named Region II Player of the Week while freshman Ally Lewis of Enid was named Region II Pitcher of the Week. Seminole State Softball remains unbeaten in conference play with a record of 20-0 and an overall record of 31-3.
MONTREAT, N.C. – While the Cavs' softball team was sweeping the Brenau Tigers several miles away in Black Mountain, its baseball team took two from a quality Hiwassee College team in Montreat at Newell Field.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Grand View Softball enters this week's NAIA ranking tied for 22nd with a record of 20-4 and a record total of 141 points. GV is tied with Oregon Tech who also holds a record total of 141 points and has an overall record of 24-9.
FULLERTON, Calif. — The SDC softball team scored first in both games of the DH against No. 6 Hope International.
Grand View takes two from Peru State on the road. Both Claudia Farrell (SR/Des Moines, IA) and Libby Yenger (JR/Indianola, IA) pitched shut out games for the Vikings. GV shut down the Bobcats winning game one 8-0 and 7-0 in game two.
Bartlesville, Okla. – The Friends University Falcons won a pair of close games in sweeping past the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles today (Apr. 10) in Bartlesville, Okla.
