THIS WEEK
· The Dakota State University (S.D.) Trojan Softball team (15-18 overall record, 9-7 North Star record) continues their conference action at PC Dome (1500 N Main Street) in Aberdeen, S.D. Sunday evening and Monday.
· The Trojans will face another top team in the North Star conference, playing Valley City State (N.D.) (27-8 overall record, 10-3 NSAA conference record, receiving votes in the NAIA Softball Top 25 national poll) in the North Star's four-game series.
· VCSU was originally scheduled to host the four-game series, but unfavorable playing field conditions had forced to move the series to PC Dome. It will be the fourth straight week, including 12 straight games that the Trojans will be playing at the PC Dome.
· Dakota State will step aside their North Star conference play on Thursday, visiting No. 25-ranked Morningside (Iowa) (19-8 overall record). The doubleheader is set for 3 p.m./5 p.m. at SYA Complex (1001 Riverside Blvd.) in Sioux City, Iowa.
