Dafydd Buckland: Scrum half Dafydd started playing rugby at Rumney RFC at the age of 6. He continued to play his mini and junior rugby with his local club in Cardiff, but he attended secondary school in Newport at Bassaleg Comprehensive School.
Stephen Larkham will depart Munster Rugby at the end of the 2021/22 season. Larkham, who joined Munster as senior coach two years ago, is contracted to the province until the end of the season and was offered the opportunity to extend his time in Limerick.
We recently spoke to first year Greencore Munster Rugby Academy prop Mark Donnelly. An Ireland U20 international, Mark started playing rugby in the Minis section at Midleton RFC and also played with Midleton College before going on to win a Munster Schools Senior Cup with CBC in 2019.
The Ulster Rugby Medical Performance team has issued a squad update ahead of Saturday’s United Rugby Championship fixture against Leinster at the RDS Arena. Iain Henderson suffered a hamstring injury during the warm-up for Ireland’s Autumn Nations Series game against Argentina on Sunday.
