The Connacht Eagles side has been named for tomorrow’s interpro friendly at The Sportsground against Munster ‘A’. The side features a mixture of Pro and Academy players who will be eager to pick up some game-time heading into an important part of the campaign.
The Munster A team has been named for Friday’s Interpro Challenge with Connacht Eagles at the Sportsground (1pm). Hooker Diarmuid Barron captains the team with an even split of seven senior players and seven Greencore Munster Rugby Academy members in the starting XV.
Gregor Townsend will be without top performers Jamie Ritchie, Sean Maitland and Cameron Redpath for the visit of Wales this weekend. The injured men have been replaced by Blade Thomson, Darcy Graham and James Lang respectively.
