Tell us about your player pathway.

I started playing mini rugby at Instonians from P3. I played all the way through school [at RBAI] , under-age, Irish Under-20s, then I got my Academy contract at Ulster.

Who has been your biggest influence?

My dad or my Grandpa. I don’t remember many games my dad has missed; he’s travelled all around the country to watch me.

Who is your best friend in the squad?

Mikey Lowry or James Hume because I went to school with them.

Who is the funniest player in the squad?

Ian Madigan. He’s always having good craic.

Cardio or weights?

Weights.

Early riser or night owl?

Night owl.

Would you rather be 4’5” or 7’7”?

7’7″.

Would you rather live in Antarctica or the Sahara Desert?

Sahara Desert.

Which three dinner guests would you have at your dinner party?

Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Buy a really fancy sports car and buy a house abroad.

What player would you least like to be stuck on a desert island with?

David McCann. I live with him currently and my housemates would agree he’s definitely the hardest to live with!
