With an estimated 2.3 million Australians volunteering their effort to sport and physical activity each year, Sport Australia CEO Kate Palmer is encouraging every sporting participant to thank their local volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
Tokyo Tech's Rowing Club dominated the 62nd Five Universities' Regatta, held on April 27 at the Toda Boat Course in Saitama Prefecture. The Institute's rowers won the men's eight, men's coxed four, and single scull categories.
It is with great sadness that we advice the rowing community of the passing of Alan Grover, Olympic silver medallist. Alan competed in rowing at the Tokyo 1964, Mexico 1968 (Men’s Eight – silver medal) and Munich 1972 Olympic Games.
