Anthony Gordon is a proven Premier League performer, having joined from Everton in January 2023.

He is enjoying his most prolific campaign of his senior career, netting 17 goals and providing five assists in 45 games across all competitions.

The Magpies are reportedly holding out for a fee close to £100 million, but United must look to negotiate a more reasonable deal.

Newcastle are expected to miss out on the Champions League football next season. This could further force Gordon to push for an exit at a reasonable transfer fee.

Crysencio Summerville

Summerville endured a slow start to the campaign but has burst into life in 2026 with a rich vein of form. All seven of his goals in 27 appearances have come within the last three months.

He is a traditional left winger who has the ability to take on full-backs and beat them with his trickery and pace.

While he may not single-handedly transform United into title contenders, he would significantly enhance squad depth.

If a large portion of the budget is allocated to midfield reinforcements, INEOS must identify cost-effective options like Summerville to strengthen other areas.
