They have provided security, control and creativity. Manuel Ugarte may have to settle for an impact role off the bench.

Attack

Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko

Cunha and Mbeumo have rotated through the central role in recent weeks, but both could be deployed in wider areas against the Toffees.

With five goals in the last six games, Benjamin Sesko must be reinstated to the starting XI.

Everton are likely to adopt a compact, deep defensive block. The £66.3 million signing will keep their centre-backs busy while also providing an aerial threat.

Amad Diallo should make way for the Slovenian international.
