Pedro Porro becomes second Tottenham player to react to Thomas Frank exit
Pedro Porro is the latest Tottenham Hotspur player to send a message to Thomas Frank following his dismissal earlier today.
Thomas Frank became the 16th Tottenham Hotspur boss to be sacked in the last 24-plus years in north London this morning.
The Dane was also the first to receive the axe in what is a new era following Daniel Levy’s departure from Tottenham last year.
It just did not work out for Frank and Spurs, with results ultimately proving to be the reason for his dismissal, as he has Tottenham in 16th place and has managed just 29 points from 26 games.
Pedro Porro sends message after Tottenham sack Thomas Frank
The Tottenham players will now have to get used to yet another manager following the sacking of Frank.
Thankfully for them, though, they should have enough time to meet with the next manager well in advance of their next Premier League game, set to come in 11 days.
Following Frank’s sacking this morning, Pedro Porro has now taken to social media to send a message to the former Tottenham boss, posting on Instagram.
The Spurs full-back said in an Instagram story: “Thank you very much and the best for your career boss! A pleasure.”
Spurs dressing room reaction begins to emerge
Porro is not the only Spurs player to have sent a message to Frank, as Joao Palhinha also took to social media to bid the former Tottenham boss farewell.
Both players were key and integral to Frank’s setup, with Porro featuring for 2,785 minutes in all competitions and grabbing five assists.
While Palhinha played 2,215 minutes and managed eight goal contributions, scoring five times and assisting three.
