When ball is mid-flight at "that " corner (click to expand)
So in training ... what was the plan ?
Attacker stands in front of keeper, backing on to him, to prevent him coming out to collect the cross ... "yeah ... good that's a plan"
Corner lands perfectly on the bonce of one of our players, who gets it on target and it goes in past the keeper
... "yeah Boss ... got that"
Did no-one actually pipe up and point out "perhaps it would be a good idea if the player who is positioned in front of the goalkeeper to stop him coming for the cross moves out from that position ? " .... and secondly .... if the keeper had saved it then Gray wouldn't have been able to tap in the rebound either !!
Does no-one think these things through ?
