Patriots Made This Practice Change Ahead Of Super Bowl LX
The New England Patriots took a little break in the middle of practice on Friday.
No, there’s no need to worry!
Mike Vrabel just wanted to simulate how things would feel during Super Bowl LX on Sunday, as he called players into the locker room roughly one hour into their final session of the season and had them wait while Bad Bunny blasted over the speakers at Stanford Stadium, per the pool report released by the Pro Football Writers of America.
It’ll be much of the same in a few days when the club takes on the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium.
Drake Maye, Hunter Henry and Efton Chism III were among those who got in extra work ahead of the big game, though the session lasted less than two hours in its entirety.
“We still have time to prepare,” Vrabel said. “… I want them to be able to enjoy their time with their families and people they care about.”
The Patriots and Seahawks will ultimately battle things out on Sunday, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.
