Full line-up announced for expanded FIFA Series 2026
January 20 – FIFA has officially confirmed the host nations and groups for the newly designed FIFA Series 2026, which world football’s governing body believes is a step forward in growing additional competition for men’s and women’s national teams outside of traditional tournament play.
The FIFA Series 2026 will bring together 48 national teams during the international match windows in March and April. The teams will compete across 12 groups of four, with participation representing nearly a quarter of FIFA’s 211 Member Associations.
